This resource pack for primary schools on life and wellbeing is completely invaluable and all parents and educators should know about it.
There's truly something for everyone here. I'm blown away by the amount of ground it covers in such a sensitive and empathetic way. From dealing with anxiety to conflict resolution to LGBTQ+ and so much more - this really is a catch-all pack and is completely free to download as a taster. I was sent the link by a friend of mine who is a trained councillor and was interested in my thoughts - I can't sing its praises loud enough - somebody get me a megaphone and a crowd!
The pack contains a variety of resources for PSHE and Citizenship, Pupil Voice and Staff Wellbeing.
The PSHE and Citizenship resources have been produced to be fully in line with the Learning Outcomes and Core Themes outlined in the PSHE Association Programme of Study which is widely used by schools in England and is recommended and referred to by the DfE in all key documentation relating to PSHE provision in schools.
To wind down, I've found that some mindfulness colouring activities can be really useful for my children to decompress and focus on something relaxing. I found these to download for free and they're perfect for this transition period back to school. With Halloween coming up, I've also sought out some themed colouring sheets for the spooky season.
